More and more Americans are choosing craft beers over their counterparts. While craft beers are available year-round, many beer lovers have their favorite seasonal ones. In fact, a recent survey found that 84% of the craft-beer-drinking public actually prefer choosing their beer based on the season. Furthermore, for beer drinkers that appreciate variety, craft beer brewers tend to come up with new flavor experiences on a regular basis in order to sate their customers’ various palettes.

It’s not unusual to see growlers for sale at local establishments that brew or sell craft beer. In addition to enjoying a pint of craft beer at these tasting rooms and pubs, many beer lovers will fill up their own personalized growlers to take home. While it’s been a few years since this 2001 study was published, the National Institutes of Health found that moderate drinkers exercise more than their non-drinking counterparts. The results showed that for those individuals that consumed a drink a day, they were twice as likely to exercise. It’s also interesting to note that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention stated that just 21.7% of adults are engaging in the recommended amount of daily and weekly exercise. For some reason, people that drink moderately also realize the importance of taking care of their overall health by staying active.

It’s not unusual for many people to enjoy a beer with friends after a solid aerobic and muscle-strengthening workout. Since you love to drink craft beer, there’s a good chance that you make it a point to exercise on a regular basis, too. So, the next time you’re at your favorite local brewery or tasting room, reward yourself with a flight of something new and then fill up your growler to take home.
